Admissions Information

To apply for a place at Chellaston Fields Spencer Academy you must apply through Derbyshire County Council. The Admissions Policy includes detailed information on the applications process; the special consideration given to applications on behalf of children with special education needs and support requirements; and the criteria used when the school is over-subscribed.

If you do not live in Derbyshire, you must apply through the council covering the area in which you live.

The school has a planned admission number of 30 pupils.

Child Starting School for the first time

If your child was born between 1st September 2017 to 31st August 2018 they are eligible to start school in September 2022.

If your child was born between 1st September 2018 to 31st August 2019 they are eligible to start school in September 2023.

In Year Admissions

If you are moving to Derbyshire or want your child to move schools other than at the normal admission/transfer time, you will need to apply for an in-year admission.  You can apply by telephone 01629 533190, email: admissions.transport@derbyshire.gov.uk or online using the link below.

Leaving the School

If your child is leaving the school e.g. moving area, then please tell the Headteacher the following information:

1. the date your child is leaving the school
2. the name of the school that your child will be attending and their start date
3. the family address (if you are moving house)
